Vintage Microphone Connector Screw / Locking Type Harmonica Replacement Switchcraft 2501F/2501MP
For use on vintage microphones, such as vocal or harmonica mic's these connectors with a 5/8-27 thread are designed for use with single conductor microphone cable with .281 inch (7.14 mm) maximum outside diameter. 44 adapts 2501F to fit standard 2-conductor phone jack.
The Coupling ring is removable for fast change from female to male type. The 5/8th coupling ring can be unscrewed and will slide onto the cable and remain there for use if needed. The connector is now converted to 2501MP and can be used in a 2501F socket. Spring assembled into body, cable braid and spring clamped by hollow set screws . 2501MP mounts in .390 inch (9.92 mm) diameter hole.
