This gel-filled moisture resistant UY2 insulation butt connector (Yellow lid), which is self-stripping, is a small two-wire version of the UR2 (Red lid).
Its small size allows you to handle higher pair count splicing whilst keeping the bundle O.D. to a minimum.
The UY2 accepts any two-wire combinations of 19 (0.9mm) through 26 (0.4mm) AWG filled or air core cable with a maximum insulation O.D. of 2.08 mm.
