These Knobs are found on the center hub of the folding arms of the Spider Pro. They keep the arms in place at the right height to rest your keyboard. If you find you are unable to lock the arms in place at the desired height, you may have worn the threads on one of these knobs  These are sold in a set of 2 and present a snug secure tight fit to secure the arms in place and prevent them from sliding.
