HDMIMX88V2 8X8 4K HDMI MATRIX HDMI 2.0 PRO2 SX-MX11

HDMIMX88V2 is a HDMI 8x8 matrix that supports HDMI2.0. Itcan take up to 8 HDMI inputs and distributes them to 8 individual HDMI outputs.

The latest October 2021 firmware improved two features, contact us if you have different firmware version.

  1. Renaming the inputs and outputs (7 letters and numbers limit). 
  2. Simplify the output charts, only shows the outputs inuse, for example, if only use 4 outputs of the matrix, it will only display 4 outputs.

Q: How to know the RS232 connection is successful?
A: If the matrix is connected successfully, you should be able to see the name of the device. Refer to the image below.
Q: How to upgrade the firmware?
A: The firmware is upgradeable via the web login, not RS232 connection, refer to the image below:

Q: How to reset the HDMIMX88V2?
A: There are two ways to reset the HDMIMX88V2:
Way 1: Connect the unit via RS232 COM port, run PC tool software, supplied in the CD disc, unit can be reset under system config if the connection is successful.
Way 2: From the front panel buttons: 
  1. Press and hold input7 for 3 seconds, 
  2. Press input2 see the factory reset screen
  3. Press output1 to reset the unit
  4. Press output1 again to confirm to reset the unit
Q: What is the default IP address of the HDMIMX88V2?
A: The unit is default DHCP OFF and the IP address is 192.168.1.168. Connect the matrix to the network, and accessthe unit directly if the subnet is the same, 192.168.1.xxx. Or set the DHCP ON and access the unit from the new IP address obtained from the router.
 

Q: How to check the unit network information from the front panel? 
A: Instructions: 

  1. Press and hold input7 for 3 seconds
  2. Press input2 
  3. Keep pressing input2 to check all network info likeDHCP, Factory reset, Router IP address, Host IP address, etc. 

Q: How to Turn-ON/OFF DHCP from the front panel?
A: Instructions: 

  1. Press and hold input7 for 3 seconds, bring up the DHCP setting screen
  2. Press output1, ON/OFF flashes
  3. Press output2 to change it to OFF/ON
  4. Press output1 to confirm OFF/ON

Q: How to find the IP address of the HDMIMX88V2 from thefront panel?
A: Instructions: 

  1. Press and hold input7 for 3 seconds
  2. Press input2 four times to find out the host IP 
Q: How to find out EDID information of all inputs?
A: Press "Input6" on front panel for 3 seconds, press and hold"Input5" to exit.
Q: Does this matrix support CEC pass through?
A: No.
