The DE01ERK DVI Extender allows transmission of DVI signals up to a distance of 70m over CAT5 UTP Cable. This allows the user to connect devices using thin, long, flexible, cost effective CAT5e/6 cables rather than short, bulky and expensive DVI Cables. With he embedded EDID in theTransmitting adaptor, the PC will still send the digital video even when the monitor is disconnected or off. The usercan then relocate the monitor without the need to reboot thesystem or source device. This means set-up is a breeze.
