The MICROTEMP(r) thermal cutoff is designed to provide upper limittemperature protection. They are widely used to protect householdappliances, motors, transformers, ballasts and may other products whichdo not have controlling thermostats. Once a MICROTEMP(r) opens a circuit, the circuit will remain open untilthe fault is corrected and the MICROTEMP(r) is replaced. They can be installed easily by soldering, crimping, resistance welding, or with the use of any of the standard terminations, including tab terminals,ring tongues, etc. The maximum recommended voltage current is 15Amps at 277Volts A.C.,and it has 18AWG (0.832MM2) leads.
